Who is Chef Gigi?

Classically trained, and recognized nationally as an expert in culinary field. I have worked from the Ritz- Calrton to the Grand Hyatt Hotel Corporation, and others in between. I adore specializing in intimate gatherings and work discreetly with many high profile clients. I can help take some of the stress out of planning your event-- from a simple meal-prep for your busy week,  to multiple course events, or  a comfortable family-style buffet. With many years of experience, my work is streamline. I have developed a clean, bright, signature style along the way. 

As former Academic Director for the famed French Culinary School- Le Cordon Bleu-- I've gained extensive experience in my field. ​I also work as a freelance food writer, learning and development culinary instructor. Worked extensively with teaching others how to cook and eat and live better through the medium of food.

I've co-authored, “Learning with Little Lulu Lemon” and have appeared in a variety of media outlets including, Radio Disney and Bay Area local television broadcast with Spencer Christian, on NBC’s “View from the Bay” and CBS, “Eye on the Bay”. I have worked along-side world famous chefs from culinary gold medalist to Michelin Star chefs such as, Yves Garner- and local celebrity chefs, such as Gary Danko. In 2015 I went on to study at the National Association of Sports Medicine to further understand the impact of movement and nutrition on our bodies. I keeps bees, and raise chickens and try to grows much of my own herbs and vegetables as possible. Currently, I am a food writer contributing monthly to: Urban Gardeners Republic Magazine, Consumers Health Digest, and 30 Seconds Chicago.
